Scope Of Works
The scope of works responsible by the public and private parties can be defined as follows:
- Scope of Public Investment: The DOH is responsible for construction of civil works, including the roadway and the elevated structure, from the point where it connects to the EXAT’s Rama III – Dao Khanong – Western Bangkok Outer Ring Expressway to the project end,
at km. 36+645 of Highway No. 35, covering 24.7 km. in total.
- Scope of Private Investment: This is divided into 2 phases as follows:
- System Works Construction and Installation: The private party is responsible for financial sourcing, design, construction and installation of system works and related facilities, including Toll Collection System (M-Flow System), Traffic Management and Control System, Power Distribution System, Electrical and Communication System as well as construction of related facilities and buildings. All systems are required to support transportation interoperability.
- Operation and Maintenance: The private party is responsible for generating and transmitting to the DOH M-Flow transaction data as well as managing the motorway system works and related facilities, including maintenance of the whole project, both the civil works funded by the public sector and the system works funded by the private party.
